Happy National Payroll Week from all of us at Holbrook & Manter! Founded by the American Payroll Association, National Payroll Week celebrates the hard work by America’s 150 million wage earners and the payroll professionals who pay them. Together, through the payroll withholding system, they contribute, collect, report and deposit approximately $2.2 trillion, or 67% of the annual revenue of the U.S. Treasury. We are so proud to be a part of these statistics!

H&M assists several of our clients with their payroll needs. We can customize what we offer towards specific client needs. We offer the following:

  • Live Payroll (calculating and processing payroll for our clients to give to their employees)
  • After the Fact Payroll (the client processes the payroll and we just assist with the payroll taxes)

I enjoy processing payroll because I understand how important it is for businesses and also the employees of the business. For every client I process payroll for, I generally have a point of contact at the business. I enjoy the relationships I create with these people and enjoy helping their business run smoothly. I also enjoy the exact deadlines associated with payroll. I come in on Monday and know exactly what needs to be done before the Friday pay date. The same idea applies for specific days of the month or months for payroll tax purposes.

Communication is key when processing payroll for a client. Once the payroll is set up, H&M stays on top of everything from how we are getting the hours from the client to any new hire information or updates on employees. The best part if simply working our magic each pay period and turning the finished project over the client (payroll reports and paychecks!)
