Our Business Services & Solutions Team stepped away from their computers recently to enjoy some time as a team. Staff Accountant Trent Greene shares more about their day here:

First our team arrived in Plain City at a place called Hammer & Stain which is a local “do it yourself” arts and crafts store right downtown. We started off by getting a demonstration of the glass blowing and some tips and tricks and then it was our turn! We definitely all struggled at first and the goal was to make ornaments with our glass blowing’s, and each got three attempts (although some did more). After we each did our three, we went and got the best ones cut into ornaments.

Once this was complete, we traveled just across the street to a local restaurant called The Grainery which offered lots of in house smoked meats and other smokehouse foods. After the meal (which was amazing!) the waiter came out and let us know that the SoftServe machine in the corner was free to use after our meals so lots of us took advantage of that of course.

All and all it was a great day and a really fun experience. It was great to be together as a team.
